Jens Amborg

 Jens Amborg is a Fulbright VSR at Stanford University in the 2022-2023 academic year.

He is a PhD student in the Department of History of Science and Ideas, interested in the history of science and medicine, environmental and animal history, and the French Enlightenment. His thesis focuses on theories and practices of animal breeding in eighteenth-century France. He examines how knowledge developed within the context of animal breeding shaped ideas about racial improvement of humans and other animals.
