Sunil D. Persad is a PhD Student in Religious Studies at Stanford University, specializing in Late Antiquity Christianity. He is specifically interested in the construction of political, ecclesiastical, & theological functions in Syriac Christian communities within the context of emergent Islam. His other research interests include scribal culture, digital humanities, religious pilgrimage, and early Christian art and architecture. Sunil also has an extensive background in business leadership and strategic development as a former hospitality and branding professional.
