Meagan Khoury investigates art historical questions of gender in later medieval and early modern Europe. She has written previously on hammams and purity culture, waffles and wafers, mystics and saints. Currently, her work centers women’s communal living and silk embroidery production in sixteenth-century Italy through an anarcha-ecofeminist lens. Her co-edited volume, “Medieval Mobilities: Gendered Bodies, Spaces, and Movements” is forthcoming from Palgrave Macmillan in early 2023. Meagan is minoring in Feminism, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Meagan was previously the Communications Coordinator at CMEMS.
