Kedao Tong received his BA in East Asian Studies at University of Toronto and completed his MA in East Asian Languages and Cultures at Stanford. His main field of interest is the history of Chinese Buddhism from the Song to Ming dynasties, with a focus on the relation of Buddhism to the Chinese ritual life and literary culture.
