Department
M.A.R., Yale Divinity School (2020)
B.A., Washington and Lee University (2018)

Ben's interests center on issues of contested reception for works of drama from the Protestant Reformation through the Restoration. The interdisciplinary connections of theology and music also appeal to him, as he had previously worked on poetic and liturgical forms within nineteenth-century Austro-German symphonism at Yale's Institute of Sacred Music. At Stanford, Ben plans to study the history of criticism and investigate material artifacts of informal dramatic criticism.

Ben formerly worked at CMEMS as the Workshop Coordinator.
