CMEMS brings together an active community of faculty, librarians, scholars, graduate and undergraduate students from Stanford, the Bay Area and beyond who love to talk, write, think, and dream about the medieval and early modern worlds.

In addition to the more than 150 faculty, research affiliates, and graduate students who work together at Stanford University, a wider network of scholars from institutions around the country enriches CMEMS intellectual life by conversing on their blog about how the medieval and early modern continues to reverberate in today’s world.
